Athos will be going in for surgery tomorrow morning at 8:00. According to the surgeon that my vet is bringing in there is only two ways to go. Either pin and pull the bones together or amputate :(
Hopefully, pinning will work for him. If it doesn't I'm sure that DH will throw both me and Athos out in the snowbank LOL You are so right.....ferret care doesn't come cheap. We're $200 on the diagnosis and pain med and another $1000 to bring in the surgeon. I'm not naive, I know there's more after that too.

Suggest to your Vet to put a soft wrapping on the bad leg.
I suugest soft wrapping so he can get the optimum range of maotion
and circulation to the area of the break.
