I spoke too soon, after noticing Suki not being as active as normal I
retested her urine (vet supplied some test strips). Suki had tested
negative for blood and leucocytes 2 days after antibiotic course (10
days of baytril ending 21 Nov).
Test 14 Dec.
Leucocytes 125-500/=B5L
Nitrites....... positive
Protein....... 100-300 mg/dL
pH............. 5.5
Blood ........ 80-200 ery/=B5L (Haemolyzed)
SG............. 1.030
Ketone....... negative
Glucose...... =3D> 100
No readings for bilirubin, different test strips supplied this time.
Is this normal for a UTI to start up again and is the blood reading
consistent with a UTI. Any comments most welcome.
Back to the vets on Monday.
