Subject: [ferrethealth] % weeks post op adrenalectommy
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Greetings,

I have a 6 y/o male Marshall who just underwent surgery five weeks
ago. Prior to surgery he was demonstrating all of the typical adrenal
sx. Aggressiveness, sexual and general, almost total hair loss,
"pear-shaped belly," etc.

He is now completely covered with fur, although it reminds me of my
pit bull Petey's fur when he was still with us and unusually orange in
color! Weird! Also he has gained approx 5-6oz post-op. I think that is
because he will not eat kibble anymore and I have to duck soup and
baby food it.

My main concern now is that his breath smells quite foul and didn't
before surgery. A few weeks prior to surgery he was treated with Amoxi
and Flagyl for nasty poops and appeared to clear up.

Any suggestions or ideas from anyone is well appreciated in advance!
