Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] subcutaneous fluid dosage
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
enrofloxacin is baytril. i am giving her 0.2ml subcutaneously twice a
day, as well as as much subcutaneous fluids as I can get her to let me
give her, plus my own formulation of a high fat, high protein duck
soup. she seems to be perking up a bit - i'm taking her to work with
me every day, keeping her in a room with a space heater - my ferret
room is a little on the colder side, about 60-65F and my office is
more around 75, 80 with the heater. right now, she's curled up in my
lap and hopefully not about to pee on me again (i am at work after
all! but i don't really care if she does, since it means her body is
working).
thanks for your help
Becky
