When I got Sue, my second ferret as a companion for my first
ferret Sally, she was only 3 months old and very boisterous. She
would always pounce on Sally from behind at the first chance she
had. Sally's defence was to go into reverse and roll over Sue like a
road roller and then sit on her and pin her down ( I called this Sally's
butt hold) LOL. This carried on until Sally was 6 and and Sue 4 . She
never poofed, she probably didn't feel threatened by the attacks.

Of my two now, Sugar, the eldest, is more lightly built than Suki.
Suki constantly tries to bully Sugar, who will often try to get away
from Suki. If Sugar thinks this has got too rough she will turn and fly
at Suki and gives her a lesson on how to grip a ferret by the neck
and not let go. Never a poof from either one of them.

Tony (not a vet), Sugar and Suki.
In memory of Sally and Sue.
