Subject: [ferrethealth] Looking for Panmycin Aquadrops

We've been battling pasteurella multocida and alpha strep in our
group. We've used Pamnycin Aquadrops and baytril. My understanding is
that tetracyclene won't kill the pasteurella bacteria but it keeps it
in check and for us it seems to work well in combination with baytril.
The problem is that Pfizer discontinued this product and our infection
is on-going and can be aggravated by stress. We've been dealing with
this since July 2006.
My request is for others to ask their vets if they have Panmycin
Aquadrops in stock and if they would be willing to sell it to us,
through our vet of course. If your vet is willing, please forward the
contact information, how many bottles and price to sprite@ksu.edu and
I'll contact them to arrange payment and have our vet contact them for
prescription and shipping details.
