Despite him being intact and being so young it might pay to do the
TN Panel test for adrenal hormones for his one.

Though rare it is not unknown for a whole and young ferret to have
Adrenal Associated Endocrinopathy, and it appears that there can
be at least two genetic components which might increase the risk
rate: MEN (multiple endocrinological neoplasia) genetics which
may up the chances of getting growths, and p54 variations which
may decrease the ability of the individual to fight off early growths
when they are just in the few cells stage.
