UTIs, diet, chemicals in the water.. these can contribute to strong urine smell, but more importantly - strength of odor/scents/stink is subjective. You have one ferret.

Is this your first ferret?
Did you change his litter?
Did you change his food?
How old is he now?

Are you comparing his urine scent to a cat or dog or person?
Do you mean it is stronger now than it has been - say last week or last month?
Has the household environment changed? Has your sense of smell changed?

It's kinda hard to nail this because so much can be involved.
