Subject: [ferrethealth] Surgeons whose specialize in adrenal surgery
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I was hoping to get a list of surgeons in the northern
Viginia area that close to Warrenton, Virginia. I am on disability
and hope to not drive too far. My yearly visits are at a vet in
Manassas because none of the dozen vets in Warrenton do exams, rabies,
and distemper shots for ferrets. Since I care for six ferrets and
three cats and just myself we are hoping to save Puck for a second
time because he is the only ferret I have adopted and he is only three
years old and started to show the tip of his tail last August, but now
this month he is loosing hair at the base of his tail and
unfortunately I know in my heart along with my vet telling me to watch
him closely last summer that he is just very, very slowing showing the
progression of a deadly disease if left untreated. I hate the idea of
surgury but since he is so young and they have lived two to three
years after the proper care, that the medications would be more costly
and since I am on disability and a fixed income and by myself this
would be the best way to go. Thank you for any imformation.
