The hind end weakness is probably a symptom of low blood sugar due to the insulinoma. To try to maintain a more stable BG level throughout the day, you should try to make sure she eats at least 4 times a day, as evenly spaced out as you can do it. I also found better results when I administered Pred 3 or 4 times daily instead of twice daily. You can ask your vet about that and if the vet approves then adjust the amount of Pred accordingly each time you give it.

I don't know how far along she is with the insulinoma, but the signs of 'the end' that we experienced with Neo were when his Pred and Diazoxide were at maximum effective dosage and he was still weak and lethargic most of the time. He also had a pretty violent seizure despite the meds being maxxed out, and although we brought him out of it and he seemed okay afterwards, we decided that it was time to help him pass. Hopefully your girl is not at that point yet.
