Allergies, cutaneous lymphoma, pemphigus, demodex or sarcoptes mites (if I spelled all of
those things right) are all things to consider.
A skin scraping makes sense, and if it can be safely done at least one skin biopsy.

Swollen feet and legs can also happen with peripheral edema. The ferret we had who had
peripheral edema problems had that during advanced hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Canine Distemper can cause keratoses of the feet and other symptoms and keratoses can
happen due to some other things, too.
