Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: update on sudden weight gain

Hello--I'm new to the group but have 2 bubs and hope that it's ok to
add my 2 cents. This sounds like the lymphoma that my Jeebus has. He's
almost 6 and he was diagnosed with lymphoma in December. It seems to
change monthly and last month, he had an xray that showed enlarged
lymph nodes around his abdomen. He had been dehydrated, not
experiencing weight gain like your Fran. In any case, our vet put him
on some antibiotics and after 4 weeks, his xray came back much
improved today. His medication regimen is:
0.30 cc prednisone, twice a day
0.10 cc Lasix twice a day, and
0.10 cc metronidazole once a day.
