Subject: [ferrethealth] Adrenal & insulonomic
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

My taz had glucose level checked and he is at 43.. He had a insulin
crash early sat morning ... I got him to vet they gave him fluids and
glucose and he seems to be doing fine.. alert, running around and
eating like a pig.. His glucose was at 42 that day.. he was on .25
twice a day...

Since the insulin crash he has been on .50 in the am and .25 in the
evening , started this dosage on sat night... so sat sunday and this
am.. took him to vet and vet checked glucose it is at 45 so some
improvement.. He goes and get glucose checked again next month.. This
is getting expensive .. weekly it is 40.12 can I not check it myself
with a glucometer ....

He seems to be stable at .50 am and .25 night time dosage.. twice day
every 12 hours...

Any feedback / information would be great...

Thank,
Breanna
