Subject: [ferrethealth] Just an update on Butch!

Butchie has been on Diazoxide for over a month now, and continues to
do well!!!! Just want to thank all the kind people who have been so
supportive of Butch and my situation. This forum is full of
ANGELS!!!! Butch seems to have put on a bit of weight and is eatinag
lots of baby food - he loves it more than anything. It does cost a lot
though, so I am thinking of roasting a turkey and grinding up the meat
and putting in the freezer. That should last a while! I have yet to
talk to the Polish butcher (no pun intended) in town, to find out if
he will grind up raw chickens for me. If he will, I plan to put the
two buys on a raw diet. utch's hair is still very thin now, buta at
least he has no gone bald, as I hear some ferrets do. I have even
seen him play with Fuzz on occassion, which is pretty much a miracle!
He hasn't done that in a very long time. Blessings to all! Christine
