Thank you for your reply Dr. Sue. He is not my ferret but since I'm
worried about him I took him to my vet. I asked her about a saddle
thrombus but she said it is extremely painful and I think she thinks
he would have been worse. Plus I don't think his back legs were cold.
He feels cool all over, i.e. not hot. He had problems with cold feet
over winter but no other symptoms then. He shivers a lot at the
moment and when he sleeps he keeps shuddering every few minutes,
almost like a small spasm. Not sure if this is all pain related...
