Yes and that is actually what a feral ferret/polecat would eat in the
UK, they eat carrion as part of their natural diet. They have a
natural immunity to to most of the nasties found on my side of the pond.
We have had feral ferrets for well over 500 years and they are pretty
well adapted to the environment. Chris.
