Blood glucose that low seems too low to me to be solely
from infection(but I am not an expert on blood tests and
certainly I am not a vet) so I'd consider the possibility of
insulinoma.

If you would put up the entire suite of blood test results that
would let the experts look at the proportions between some
things and that is important often.

Did your vet test the urine for more than blood? I know
it's not adrenal, but when there is blood I think that besides
checking for infection it might also pay to check for stones.
Uroliths happen for different reasons depending on the type
of urolith (though urine pH can also give important info. I
just tend to often have them on my mind since two of ours
get cystine ones without a carefully managed diet.

There are ways to treat prostate infections and also
ways to treat prostatic cysts when those happen
(fortunately not commonly) and those pieces of info
can be found in the archives.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the FHL Archives, for your
situation including (but not limited to) these posts:

and more to better understand the medical approach though
when possible surgery is better. Lupron DEPOT (or Suprelorin
DEPOT where it can be sold) is stronger than melatonin, but
the two together is better yet.

Also recommended for more general learning given what you
have described:

and for learning about insulinoma:

(Some people are bothered by photos of surgeries or
necropsies; if that is your case just print that article out then
cover the photos with sticky notes and read, read, read.)

http://www.miamiferret.org/fhc/treatment.htm

(Actually, I have only skimmed that one but what I noticed was
good. BTW, also avoid raisins because too many raisins or
grapes are associated with acute kidney failure in ferrets, dogs,
and cats.)
