Subject: [ferrethealth] GnRH implant-behavior?
To: <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

Hi,

I wonder if someone has experienced similar? One of my sons got the implant about a month ago at the age of three. For a week now he seems to be something like I would call stressfulness or tenseness? As nothing else has changed in his life, not being such before, and knowing that hormones can cause similar in humans as well, I thought it may be due to the implant as a side effect while it's starting "working"? It's nothing serious, but enough for me to notice him feeling unusual while he bit me.
A friend has told me that her ferret also bit her at about a month after getting the implant, which he hadn't done for years since being a kit.
I wonder if GnRH implant can have such a side effect and if yes, whether it's temporary or permanent? Or may it be just accidental?

Thanks a lot for any ideas or experience.

Nelli
