schedule the appt. - congential heart disease may not be rampant but it is also not unheard of. This could be spring allergies or dust bunnies on the floor, it could be an allergy to his litter or a new laundry detergent... But before I would start experiments with decongestants and antihistimines, I would want to know for sure that he does not have heart disease.

He has been coughing quite a bit lately. I've checked him for runny
nose and lethargy, but he appears normal, no problems. The coughing
has been escalating the past couple (2) days, and we're starting to
get a little concerned because he has never done this before. I'm
worried it could be something serious like cardiomyopathy but he's
seems really young for this. I've also considered that he might have
a cold.
