Subject: [ferrethealth] New Ferrets...

Hi. I'm new to this forum. I have a question and was wondering if
anyone can give me some ideas. I just adopted two ferrets from the
shelter. They are almost three years old, brother and sister, and have
always been together. I have previously owned ferrets. But when we
adopted her I could tell she was a tad bit below weight and loss of
hair around her tail. Their previously owner just dropped them off
there with no information whatsoever. She has a great appetite and is
gaining weight so I am not concerned with that. But the hair on her
tail is still scarce and it is red where she is chewing it. Any
information would be appreciated until I can get her into the vet.
