One of my first pair was adrenal well before he was a year old; he was not quite fully
grown and the tumor was quite large when he started losing hair and was operated on.
That was ages ago, right when ECE was just starting to hit and I had to finally reach
someone in Florida to tell me what it was. (He was the first kid in Indiana to get it, I think.
That was before the adrenal diagnosis.) His fur was as rough as a terrier's even when he
was a tiny baby, and if I'd known anything about ferrets, I'd have known something was
wrong even that early. It got very soft after the tumor was removed.
