I wonder if that was due to the nausea from the insulinoma since
that is a common symptom, or if the insulinoma caused an aberrant
appetite in her?
Come to think of it, it was when Ashling developed carcinoma in
her pancreas that she ate holes through about a half dozen cotton
queen size blankets (some new) that we had stored under our bed.
The cardboard eater we had seemed to be responding to nausea
from his GI problems (severe IBD). We could not let him near any
cardboard.
Then again, I've known people with wonderful homes who never-
the-less each had a ferret who just ate what should not be
eaten, but they did get full medical and dental checks to be safest.
