Subject: [ferrethealth] Andrenal Disease in ferrets - first symptoms
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Just wondering, what are the signs of andrenal disease.

My ferret has lost hair on the lower back. I can feel her spine and
see her leg muscles.

She eats well, still active, no discolouration on skin, no flaking,...

I guess I am after some confirmation from people that have had ferrets
with andrenal disease, what were the initial symptoms before you took
the ferret to the vet...and was it in fact adrenal disease.

I cant help but wonder it may be the other ferret biting her, her rat
tail cleared up after application of mite spray - maybe she has mites,
maybe it is the new washing powder i am trying.....

Thanks for those of you who respond to this email to share your symptomes

wendy
