Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] Chordoma?
I had a ferret with a small chordoma at the end of his tail--it did not seem to cause him any distress at all. From what I understood after reading up on it, a chordoma generally isn't uncomfortable until it has grown enough to start stretching the skin.
Removal was very straightforward; if you get it while it is small, the ferret can keep a large portion of its tail.
