Good for you to do research before obtaining a ferret!

The ferrets for Dummies is a good starter book! Other good reading
information comes from "Bob Church" an online search for his name ought
to bring up quite a few of is articles. He is an icon in the Ferret
World ( at least here in the US)

Have you also checked out natural whoe prey feeding for ferrets? There
is a very strong contingent of ferret owners and finalkly some new
studies started to evaluate the link (if any) between issues with ferret
health and their diet. Many people ( myself included) feed their ferrets
a whole prey diet because of evidence (anecdotal though it may be) that
kibble fed ferrets are beset with health issues and this may lead to
their early demise.

Kibble may be convenient for us, but it wreaks havoc with the ferret's
