Yes. In fact, false positives and false negatives were quite the hot topic of discussion
maybe 5 years ago or so after a company which had claimed to have a test without false
positives and with only a few false negatives turned out to have needed to run a larger
sample to get accurate enough numbers.

What several vets advised was that if there was any cause for doubt to then use a
DIFFERENT TYPE of ADV test from the first, and if possible by a different company.
