The most common problem would be insulinoma, causing low blood sugar.
When the symptoms happen the glucose is so low the brain is sluggish
and there are neurologic signs.
When you go in, get some blood work done. Especially at that age, it
is important to check blood count, kidney function and blood glucose-
if the vet draws blood to send out, have him put a drop on an inhouse
glucose monitor for a quick answer so you don't have to wait a day for
the official lab results.

Insulinoma can be managed. Medications, careful attention to diet and
meals. Even surgery.

IT may be something else, so start with the blood tests and vet check.
Please see if you can get in tomorrow- if low blood sugar starting
treatment sooner is the best option.

seems to fit.
