Subject: [ferrethealth] Ticks!
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I was just sitting by the screen door of our balcony with two of the
ferrets, and after I got up and tucked them in their cages, I felt
something itchy on my arm, which turned out to be a TICK.
Sooo now I'm freaking out. What if there's more in the house? What if
there's ticks on the ferrets? *yikes* None of the animals (cats,
ferrets) go outside, so they're not on any kind of flea/tick
repellant.

Does anybody have helpful advice on how to check a ferret for ticks
(very thoroughly)?

Any info on good (maybe herbal) tick repellents/treatments for the
home and/or the ferrets?

Thank you, as always any help is appreciated.
*calming down now*
