If blood was used for the ELISA test, I would retest either using
saliva for the ELISA, or send blood to Blue Cross Animal Hospital for
a CIEP test. Using blood with the ELISA has just proven to be too
unreliable.
Until you retest in one of the 2 ways mentioned above, I would not
get overly worried about ADV. And, if the ferret appears sick, I
would also persue testing for other possibilities.
