If he is a young ferret is it possible that he has fallen and received a head injury. I don't know what type of cage he is in, but kits can be very clumsy. Is it possible in climbing up, he might have fallen and hit his head. You haven't had him that long that it is possible that he might have fallen or been dropped at the pet store. believe it on not but I did witness at a local pet store, a person cleaning the ferret tank, drop a baby ferret on the floor while cleaning out the tank. The worker seemed a little afraid of the ferrets, so didn't handle them very well. After he was dropped on the floor, she picked him up and dropped him back in the ferret "tank". I was shocked, sickened, and upset when I saw this happen. We never know what those little babys have been through when we get then at a pet store. It is just a thought. My prayers are with you and your baby. A head injury can cause some of the symptoms you describe if severe enough.

3 weeks, and before that he was at a pet store. He's never been
outside here. So I don't know how he could have been exposed.
