Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Ctoss contamination

Bbailey was my cat..... she passed Wednesday morning. I asked the vet
if he thought that my ferret could contract hepatitis from Bbailey
(they were in seperate rooms and had no exposure to each other). The
vet felt that Bbailey's symptoms were a result of over all organ
failure due to anorexia and were unlikely to be contagious. She was
also on heavy duty antibiotics.
I am boiling and bleaching everything that Bbailey came into contact
with. The other cats and Cashew, my ferret are all fine. I just have
a broken heart.
