You also might want to try grinding kibble with a blender or coffee grinder and putting it a small bowl, add hot water to make a soup, let it sit for about 5 minutes or till it has cooled down enough for them to eat, stir well and start by dipping your finger in the soup and finger feeding even if you have to hold them and keep repeating. Eventually they will ge the idea and love their soup as mine do. I give my kids ground Innova Evo with a touch of ground Marshalls (they love it, so they get a tiny bit for taste) and add Nupro ferret supplement and they love it. They get this twice a day and look forward to it! They also get a mixture of different kibbles left out in their bowls for munching inbetween their breakfast and dinner! Works great my my healthy kids. The older kids with IBD/ insolinoma get a soup made of Lamb baby food/AD/water and about a quarter to half teaspoon of pumpkin (which does miracles for loose stools) while 2 get a chicken/turkey soup with crushed/softened kibble fresh ground turkey or chicken (cooked in lots of water for a broth to soak the kibble in) to make a soup which is then blended/pureed in a blender and put into plastic containers and frozen and used as needed. I use the plastic containers from Chinese restaraunts that they use for take out soups. I take a frozen one out of freezer and leave in fridge to thaw and will blend it again for a nice consistancy and sometimes add more water if it is too thick. They have individual small pyrex dishes and they are warmed for about 12 seconds in the microwave and a little bit of pumpkin is added to the individual bowls of those with IBD. Works great and poops are great!
