My ferrets differ one would try to steal a PB sandwich, the other wouldn't even take a second whiff. However, please don't give your ferrets banana! That is just asking for trouble long term. I know there are some ferret treats out there that even have dried banana in it, but it's fruit .... fibers, sugars that can wrak havoc on your ferret's digestive system. One of my ferrets who loved raisins and bananas ..... had to have his gallbladder removed and had extreme Helicobacter. One of the causes of this is long term feeding of incorrect food. A little bit can hurt. If a ferret eats a raisin ..... it comes out as a raisin at the other end. It is not digested. Whipped cream is sometimes used by adding it to food in order to get a sick ferret to eat. If you do give a lick of whipped cream for your sick ferret then it should be the pure kind without sugar. Better treat for your ferret would be a tiny piece of real butter.
