Just a quick look but those interested in the topic of polecats and natural diets will find
more (and I know that I gave other references in the past in either the FHL or FML).
Remember that polecats stash food and also grab invertebrates often enough so they eat
more often than they hunt.
Notice that although fruits and such are not the preferred food they do get eaten in small
amounts in comparison to the over-all diet. What may work best might be a matter of
strict moderation.
Hopefully, people liked the nutrient ingredient info in my previous post and will seek
more. Prey animals really do differ a lot in the proportions of different components. Egg
does not equal bird does not equal frog does not equal snake does not equal snail does
not equal vole does not equal mouse does not equal fish, etc.
