Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Mystery lump...need help identifying: Update

We've noticed that you can only feel/see the lump after she eats a
lot (quite odd). Otherwise you can feel it if you palpate her
abdomen but it doesn't protrude.
Summer went into the vet today and got an x-ray that showed a large
spleen. Since she has been eating tons and very active we were told
just to watch her for any behavioral changes. Last time she was in
at the vet they said she had a large spleen, that was about 3 months
ago, and I'm told they can enlarge with age without major medical
problems, so we're going to keep a close watch on her and see.
