have a 6 y.o. diagnosed as adrenal based on a "moderately" swollen
vulva and being less active than normal - no hair loss or even thinning
(this was about 2 wks after her best friend passed away)She did have
elevated liver values as well, for which she was given Baytril and
Flagyl.Liver values are now within normal. Lupron has been given 1x/mo
for 2 mos-and about to go in for 3rd treatment. I have been giving 1mg
melatonin per day as well. Actvity levels are now normal and vulva is
normal. My question is: how often does adrenal present w/o hair
thinning - and does this sound more like a vaginal infection or
adrenal. Since the "adrenal" responded so quickly-vulva/activity
normal really before the 2nd Lupron treatment - is it possible that it
was just an infection? Is the only way to know for sure(no adrenal
tumors could be found upon examination) by doing the TN panel? I go to
a major midwestern clinic and would consider the vet "ferret-
knowledgeable."
