That would depend on how rapidly the specific medication modifies at higher temperatures.
I know that in relation to saliva exposure concerns for some meds about chemical alteration
of the medication can be extremely rapid as in less time than it takes to swallow --
something I learned from a pharmaceutical researcher about something which was at the
time a new medication (and Lysodren, the med the developing researcher was discussing with
me, since has LONG SINCE been replaced by far better meds for ferret needs).
