I have checked in a lot of places and I can't find anything which indicates that insulin attacks
the brain.
(Instead, I did find a number of articles about normal functions of insulin in the brain, but I
do not know if there may be differences.)

If some people who know more than I do on this topic could, please, clarify what occurs it
