He's not having difficulty pooping. Yesterday he pooped a couple of
times with no problems. It was a little less firm than it usually is
but I attribute that to the fact that I'm trying to mix up another
brand of food to his regular diet. Anyway, last night I fed him only
the Totally ferret and his poops have returned to normal.
Also, since switching him back to the Totally Ferret he is eating the
normal amount.
He is still peeing. He (when I can catch him in the act) is just
straining.
If it were a UTI wouldn't it hurt for him to go?
He does not show any signs of adrenal disease so I really am stumped.

you said sounds like an intestinal blockage with another problem like
a UTI. Vet care is definitely needed and I'm not sure a non-ferret
vet is the best choice if there is an intestinal blockage (but we all
have to start somewhere)... Best of luck to you guys.
