I saw that also...I know that using pumpkin with dogs is good for
keeping their digestive system working well. You can use the pumpkin to
make sugarless muffins for the dogs. I would think that using canned
pumpkin instead of the pie filling type would be better for a ferret b/c
there is no sugar added to it. I have considered adding some to their
"soup" mix.
I totally agree with Sukie that you would need to know exactly what had
been ingested. Some things could do a lot of damage while passing.
