Around this time last year, Desidario the ferret was having big pee pee woes.
to the extent that his penis was gunked up with discharge. In desparation, I gave him 3cc's of
human cranberry juice cocktail- not the extract. While it didn't clear it up, and we went to the
Vet within a day, this certainly was of benefit at the time.
I would not reccomend this cran cocktail as it contains other juices and way too much sugars.
had I the option at that time, The straight cranberry extract would have been my choice.
I'm no herbaslist, but there are many reasons to treat some emergency situations cautiously
with some extracts.
Desidario, had 2 back to back boughts of this urinary dilemma, and I still feel that if i hadn't
gotten some cran into him at that point, things may have worsened before I could get him
professional treatment.
