Subject: [ferrethealth] Brushing Ferret Teeth

Okay so the other difficulty I am having with all of my ferrets is
their teeth. I did not realize how bad they were and I am starting to
brush them, but boy how frustrating. Am I the only one who thinks
brushing the teeth of a furry wriggling fuzzy carpet critter is
insane! I know it needs to be done, guess I am just venting. I have
a special tooth paste and am using Q tips recommmended by vet but,
well...could use some advice...

also if anyone out there is as clueless as I was about the importance
of teeth cleaning...well I feel horribly guilty as it could be part of
the cause of Little Bear's and Mia's heart problems. SIGH.
