That is interesting. We didn't encounter that, but then again our
ferrets get to have Foamy Fries (and before them Cheweasels)
a lot so perhaps that was just because their gums were already
getting some protection from those. We have even had a few
whose mouths stay pristine with just the Foamy Fries, but they
are in the minority. Most need some additional care, though few
of ours have needed vet dental care even though we are always
open to that option. Like humans, we have noticed that some
ferret individuals just are more prone to dental problems, and the
ones who need vet dental care seem to repeatedly have been the
same few individuals, and what they needed they got.
