Start spreading the news ..... A Ferret Symposium will be held in Portland, Oregon on June 22-24, 2007.
For those of you who have never attended a symposium, this one is shaping up to be the best yet....jam-packed with ferret related activities. From the traditional Thursday evening shelter dinner prepared by one of the most excellent of cooks, Renee Downs, to our optional zoo trip after the Sunday sessions, you will be kept busy day and night.
Our speakers include the top veterinanians in the country presenting the very latest in ferret medical treatment and care. You can learn all about nutrition, Aleutians disease, emergency medical care, sheltering, ferret rescue and much, much more. And on the lighter side, meet Bob Church and Alexandra Sergeant-Colburn (of Ping, Puma and France, fame :-)) We will even teach you how to train your ferret!
There will be lots and lots of things to buy from our wonderful vendors and take a chance at winning one of our many raffles.
Friends - you will make so many new friends you won't remember everyone's name! But that's OK..we have name tags to help. Need a room-mate to keep costs down? We'll help. Just contact anyone on the IFC committee. Just click on the link below my name.
