To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

You can try periods of steaming vaporizor or bathroom work well. You
can try some saline nose drops to see if they open up the nasal
passeges. Decongestants can be used but need to be diluted and
cycled. I have also use antiinflammatory eye drops in the nose but you
would need to ask your vet. There is also a homeopathic drop they make
for animals (labeled dogs and cats but it is safe) I belive they are
made by Homeopet and are called nose relief. Just use a lower amount
then labeled. Hope this helps and your little one comes thru. He may
end up needing a stronger antibiotic if this is infection, but also if
it doesn't heal need to look at other things including fungal infection.
Good Luck and all the best.
Dr. Sue
