Subject: [ferrethealth] Runny Nose
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

About 3 weeks ago, we brought a new baby in the house. He came with sneezes and sniffles
that at the time, I put down to the pet store bedding. Within 4 days, many of my 8 were
sneezing including my 9yr old "granny": adrenal and insulinomic. At the time, I got everyone
on amoxillin for 10 days. However, there seems to be a recurrance of the runny nose in
currntly one 3 yr old sprit at this time. Took her in to the Vet friday who told me it would
probably pass in 3 or 4 days, and not to worry if she's eating , drinking, pooping fine etc.,
which she is.
My question is , at what point do I become concerned, since I'm not home during the day to
monitor the breathing. Should I be monitoring temperatues also?
I'm a bit anxious as I'm fostering a friends ferret for a week upcoming this Thursday.
