I have in the past experienced this issue. I found it to be most prevelant when I introduced a new ferret to the business. Weights always stabalize relatively quickly though. I have also noted that as my ferrets got older they tended to weight less. Recently I have been giving them .2cc daily of oral vitamins as prescribed by the vet and have noticed that this has helped some of my ferrets increase in weight. I don't know if this is due to increased appetite or nutirent intake; but either way their weights are up.
