Just because a rabies vaccine may work in a ferret does not mean that it is actually approved
for use in them.
The Compendium protection depends on that approval.
Always be sure to verify statements on such vaccines with the Compendium for Animal
Rabies Control and Prevention.

approved for use in dogs, cats, and sheep.
