Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Question about weight loss

I have gone throught the same thing with one of my ferrets. In my
case, when I got my ferret, he was very overweight. He also didn't get
out very much before I got him. When I got him, he was alowed to roam
free in my room. He didn't lose weight right away but suddenly it
seemed like it all dropped off and he started shedding like crazy. I
talk to my vet and he concluded that is was the combined exercise,
change in diet and change of season.
