Just a quick note:
Years ago we had a ferret whose cardiomyopathy had messed up her electrical signals to the
point where she was doing extra ventricular beats. This is very, very dangerous and she
could have died any day. Used carefully, Digoxin was exactly the right drug for her, so
instead of having only days or weeks of life she had 18 more months, and believe me that
she enjoyed her time and the spoiling she got.
Yes,some drugs require extra care but when really needed they make all the difference in the
world.
